Background to Andrew van Ryneveld:

Andrew has over 35 years of experience supporting the mining sector across drilling, materials handling, crushing & screening, and the process plant.
In support of drilling operations he has hands-on experience from previous site roles in drilling operations, logistics, supply chain, site management, and business management in top tier drilling technology companies. He fully appreciates and understands the challenges of managing and improving productivity, and maximizing the utilization of assets in drilling operations – especially in remote and difficult environments.

He is passionate about improving productivity and efficiency for his clients through innovation, automation, and much better utilization of available resources and information. The end objective is always to enhance the customer experience.

He has a Plant Engineer’s Certificate of Competency, Master’s Degree in Business in Technology (MBT-UNSW), Six Sigma (Yellow), and Cert IV T&A.

He has worked in Australia, South Africa, East Africa, and Indonesia.
